Data on records in 1890–2001 were revised. All mentioned for that period records were not proved factually and, thus, have to be considered as unverified or erroneous. During last years, six records of the species in Odesa region had been documented. In Odesa City, the species was recorded twice: 29.01.2005 – the subadult female was banded; 10.12–25.01.2011 – a single bird was observed (No 1–2 at the map). In the outskirts of Tairovo Town (Ovidiopol district, No 3–4), on 11.12.2011, we made a photo of a single bird, and on 18.12.2011, here a male was recorded. In the village of Plavni (Reni district, No 5), a single Firecrest was observed on 15.12.2013 and 19.01.2014. In the delta of Danube River, near the village of Primorske (Kilia district, No 6) one bird was observed in a flock of the Goldcrest and the Long-tailed Tit. [Russian].
